HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

There are a few ways to start your Rockstar journey off!

To learn the strategies and skills that are necessary for the Rockstar Award Scheme you could either have 1-2-1s and/or attend Life Skills  depending on how well your dog copes with distractions. If your dog becomes easily excited or barks at distractions, 121s would be suitable.

Once you are either in a class or having 1-2-1s, you will be working on the skills to help you achieve the various levels of the Rockstar Awards.

ROCKSTAR AWARDS

The Dashing Dogs Rockstar Awards is an award scheme whereby you work through four levels of training to achieve the companion dog of your dreams!

The aim is to grow and develop a dog that has confidence to enter an environment, that will stay in proximity to their owner. The owner of the dog will understand the strategies that needs to be employed for their dog depending on the distractions and situations that they are in. The owner will have a prescription of games that they understand and engage with to grow their dog's brain in the right direction. An understanding of Adele's Dashing Dogs founding principles is essential for you and your dog to progress through the Rockstar Awards.

In order to start and progress through the award scheme you must be on a membership plan.

Part of the assessment will be in the form of a walk, whereby there will be stations that you and your dog will have to demonstrate certain skills at.

There will also be a written element to the assessment.

On passing each stage of the Rockstar Awards you and your dog will receive an Adele's Dashing Dogs rosette.
